13th Education Congress starts on Tuesday in Ponta Grossa
Education Congress of Ponta Grossa starts on Tuesday (29), with activities, lectures and programming in ten spaces across the city

The 13th Ponta Grossa Education Congress begins on Tuesday (29) with activities in ten different spaces of the city. Promoted by Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, the event will have as its theme in 2026 “Education in Network: Technologies that transform lives” and will bring together students, teachers, families and professionals linked to education.
One of the main spaces of the program will be the Event Center, where exhibitions, presentations and activities developed by the students of the Municipal Education Network will be held. The official opening will also feature a talk at Cine-Teatro Ópera.
Lecture opens programming at night
The highlight of the first day will be the lecture of the teacher, columnist and master in Education Marcos Meier, scheduled for 7 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Ópera.
During the meeting, Meier will address the theme “The role of leadership in the challenge of making it happen”, bringing reflections on children’s education, relationships and intelligence development.
The educator also works with the concept of meaningful learning, defending that the educational process should go beyond the memorization of contents and provide experiences capable of stimulating the cognitive and emotional development of students.
Event Center welcomes students and community
The schedule starts early at the Event Center. From 8 am, the space will be open for activities involving students, parents, teachers and partners of the Municipal Secretariat of Education.
Among the initiatives presented will be works developed in the Creative Learning Laboratory (LAC), in the project “Let’s Eat and Play!”, in the Multifunctional Resource Rooms and by the CIAC Superação.
There will also be actions of the Young Entrepreneurs First Steps (JEPP) program, of English for Kids, in addition to projects elaborated by the municipal schools and Municipal Centers of Educação Infantil (CMEIs).
According to the municipal secretary of Education, Joana D'Arc Panzarini Egg, the proposal is to bring the community closer to the experiences developed within the school units.
“The great objective is to show the importance of an education that connects people, knowledge, technologies and experiences, giving visibility to the practices developed in educational units and, especially, to the voice, creativity and protagonism of children and students,” he says.
Health, traffic, meio ambiente and sport also participate
The Congress program will also include activities from other areas of the municipal administration.
Actions are planned in partnership with the Municipal Traffic Guard and the Municipal Secretariat of Meio Ambiente, in addition to the participation of the Municipal Secretariat of Health, which will be on site with the Vaccine Bus and awareness activities.
The Municipal Secretariat of Sports also participates in the event with recreational activities for the public.
Congress will have lectures and trainings
From Wednesday (30), the Education Congress enters a new stage, with lectures and trainings aimed mainly at teachers and other education professionals.
Subjects included include inclusive education, artificial intelligence, learning and educational policies.
Registration for the activities is free and can be made by the Sympla platform, on the page of the Training and Technical-Pedagogical Advisory Center of the Municipal Secretariat of Education.
