A 13-year-old teenager is injured after being hit by a motorcycle in Uvaranas, in Ponta Grossa. The victim was taken to the hospital.
A motorcycle hit in Uvaranas, on Ponta Grossa, left a 13-year-old girl injured late Friday afternoon. The accident occurred on Vicente Espósito Street, in the Uvaranas region, near a point where traffic was stopped due to the closed signal.
According to information obtained on the spot, the teenager was crossing the street when she was hit by a motorcycle that passed on the right side of a bus that was stopped. According to reports, the young woman appeared in front of the bike during the crossing of the road.
With the impact, the teenager fell to the ground and suffered bruises mainly in the leg region. The team of the Integrated Emergency Trauma Service (SIATE) was triggered and carried out the first calls.
After the initial evaluation, the victim was referred to Unimed Hospital, in Ponta Grossa, for medical follow-up.
The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man, also fell after the collision and had a bruise on his leg. Despite the injury, he chose not to receive medical attention at the scene.
The motorcycle involved in the accident was removed from the road and, according to the information passed on, there was no need to drive the traffic team to attend to the occurrence.
