Collision occurred at a crossroads
Preliminary information obtained at the site indicates that the Volkswagen Jetta was following through Padre Antonio Darius Street when the collision with the electric motorcycle occurred at the intersection with Padre José Krainski Street.
Initial reports indicate that the electric motorcycle would have entered the preferred route moments before the impact. However, the exact dynamics of the accident will still have to be determined by the responsible authorities, and it is not possible to officially state, at this time, the responsibilities of the collision.
The accident caught the attention of residents and people passing through the area during the emergency teams’ service.
The occurrence also reinforces the need for redoubled attention at crossroads, especially in the face of increased circulation of bicycles and electric motorcycles on the streets of the city.
New information on the child’s health status and the circumstances of the collision may be added after official data is released.
