A decomposed body is found in a rural area of Tibagi

A corpse in an advanced state of decomposition was found on Thursday (3), in the rural town of Faxinal dos Empossados, in Tibagi.

According to information from the 26th Military Police Battalion (26th BPM), the Rural Patrol team was activated via COPOM after the report of the find. The unit’s police chief also monitored the incident.

According to the PM, it was an individual who had been missing for approximately two weeks. The body was located by an employee of a farm in the region, while carrying out field work, in the middle of a plantation.

The competent organs were activated for the collection of the body and for the procedures of expertise and identification.
