A FASPG employee dies at 65 in Ponta Grossa

The death of FASPG’s server caused commotion in Ponta Grossa on Friday (11). Carlos Roberto da Silva, 65, worked at the Ponta Grossa Social Welfare Foundation (FASPG) and dedicated 47 years to municipal public service.

Known as “Carlito”, the server built a trajectory marked by the work within the public administration of Ponta Grossa. He worked as a driver and was part of the team of the Social Welfare Foundation of the municipality.

The Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa communicated the death through an official note, in which it expressed regret for the loss of the server and highlighted the contribution of Carlos Roberto da Silva over almost five decades of work in the public service.

According to the municipality, the professional trajectory of the server was marked by the commitment to the activities developed with the municipal administration. The City Council also extended solidarity to family, friends and colleagues at this time of mourning.

Carlos Roberto da Silva was admitted to the Hospital Santa Casa, in Ponta Grossa. The cause of death was not reported by the authorities or by the family until the closing of this report.

According to information from Serviço Funerário Municipal, the funeral service is being held in the Chapel of San Francisco. The burial is scheduled for this Saturday (12), at 2 pm, in the Cemetery São José, in Ponta Grossa.

The news about the death of a FASPG server mobilized colleagues and members of the municipal administration, who recognized the long dedication of Carlos Roberto to meeting the public demands of the city.

With 47 years of services provided to the municipality, the server leaves a history linked to public work and to meeting the needs of the population of Ponta Grossa.
