The lack of infrastructure in the Cará-Cará neighborhood, in Ponta Grossa, is the target of an indication presented to Câmara Municipal. The document calls for improvements in bus stops and the revitalization of public leisure spaces in the vicinity of Sant'Ana Airport. Residents report difficulties faced daily, mainly due to the lack of coverage in the waiting places of public transport.
The claim is contained in the Indication No. 512/2026, dated March 25, 2026, which asks the Executive Power to provide assistance to the population of Boeing, Ipanema, Carajás, Jumbo and Quatorze Bis streets.
According to the document, residents face problems related to the lack of adequate urban infrastructure, a situation that compromises the comfort and quality of life of the community.
Lack of coverage at bus stops worries residents
One of the main complaints presented in the indication is the absence of shelters at the bus stops in the region.
According to the justification submitted to the Chamber, users of public transport must wait for vehicles exposed to intense sun and rain, without adequate structures of protection.
The document highlights that the installation of roofs is a necessary measure to provide more safety, comfort and dignity to passengers, especially during periods of adverse weather conditions.
Community also asks for recovery of football field and playground
In addition to the problems related to public transport, the indication points to the need to recover areas destined to leisure and community coexistence.
According to the reports presented in the document, the region already had a football field and a children's playground, structures that would have been removed. The community demands the recovery of these spaces to serve children, young people and families in the neighborhood.
The proposal sent to the legislature calls for the creation of a new football field and the implementation of a children's park, encouraging the practice of sports and the use of public spaces.
Request submitted to the House requests the action of the City Council
Indication No. 512/2026 requests that Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the competent departments, carry out technical studies and evaluate the implementation of the claimed improvements.
It is important to note that the parliamentary nomination represents a request to the Executive Power and does not mean that the works have been approved or are planned to begin.
The realization of the interventions depends on technical evaluation, planning and measures of the municipal administration.
Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa is wanted by BnT
The Portal BnT Online – Boca no Trombone sought clarification from Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa on the claims filed in Câmara Municipal.
Among the questions referred are the existence of projects for the installation of covered bus stops, the possibility of recovery of leisure spaces and possible schedules for the execution of improvements.
Until the closure of this report, the City had not yet sent an answer to the questions.
