ACIPG Mulher takes over the Capacity Development portfolio at Faciap Mulher

ACIPG Women, the board of the Commercial, Industrial and Business Association of Ponta Grossa (ACIPG), was invited to join the board of Faciap Women and will be responsible for the training portfolio. The representation of Ponta Grossa will be made by the chairman of the board, Camila Ouba, and by the vice-president Mariana Guimarães.

The nomination extends the participation of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais within the structure of the Federation of Commercial and Business Associations of Paraná (Faciap). It also represents a recognition of the work carried out by ACIPG Mulher in the areas of female entrepreneurship, professional training and the formation of new leaders.

Ponta Grossa representation gains space

According to the president of ACIPG Mulher, Camila Ouba, the participation in Faciap Mulher is in line with the objectives established by the board in Ponta Grossa.

“One of my main goals was to look at so many counselors who are already ready to occupy leadership spaces and help them take this next step,” says Camila.

With the new function, the Ponta Grossa council begins to participate directly in the elaboration and development of initiatives aimed at the empowerment of women linked to the business associativist movement in Paraná.

Vice-President Mariana Guimarães also highlighted the institutional importance of the nomination.

“For me, it is an honor to be recognized and, once again, to represent our board, alongside Camila, in an entity of as much relevance as Faciap,” he says.

Women's training and entrepreneurship

Mariana also drew attention to the challenges faced by women who run companies or develop new businesses.

“The female entrepreneurial journey is heavy, and we are here, as ACIPG Woman and also now Faciap, to help and motivate them to never give up and, above all, show how much we have been able to evolve together,” she adds.

The work in the Training portfolio should bring ACIPG Mulher even closer to the state initiatives developed by Faciap Mulher, creating opportunities for exchange of experiences, training and leadership development.

The presence of representatives of Ponta Grossa also contributes to broaden the participation of Campos Gerais in discussions related to female entrepreneurship and business associativeness in Paraná.
