Adolescent arrested with stolen motorcycle in Ponta Grossa
Stolen motorcycle in Ponta Grossa was recovered by the Military Police on Friday (2). A 17-year-old adolescent was arrested.

A motorcycle stolen in Ponta Grossa was recovered by the Military Police on the morning of Friday (2), during an approach carried out after complaints about the circulation of the vehicle on Avenida Visconde de Mauá. A 17-year-old teenager who was driving the motorcycle was seized and referred to the Civil Police.
According to the information passed on by the Military Police, teams received complaints indicating that a motorcycle with a theft alert would be traveling along the Avenida Visconde de Mauá, in the direction of the central region of Ponta Grossa.
From the information received, the police began monitoring the situation and established a strategic point to try to locate and intercept the vehicle.
Motorcycle was located during patrol
During the patrol, the team was able to visualize a motorcycle with the characteristics reported in the complaint. The police carried out the approach and identified that the vehicle was driven by a 17-year-old.
Then, the data were consulted and the motorcycle was inspected. According to the military police, the procedures confirmed that the vehicle had a theft record.
The motorcycle stolen from Ponta Grossa was recovered before the vehicle could leave the area monitored by the police.
Teenager reported buying on social media
According to the police record, the teenager informed the military that he had purchased the motorcycle after negotiations conducted through social networks.
The circumstances involving the negotiation, the origin of the vehicle and the participation of other persons should be determined by the responsible authorities.
After the verification of the situation, the teenager and the motorcycle recovered were referred to the Civil Police Station of Ponta Grossa for the procedures provided by law.
Because he is a teenager, the referral occurred with the follow-up of his legal representative.
The Civil Police should continue the investigation to clarify how the vehicle reached the teenager and identify any involved in the theft or subsequent negotiation of the motorcycle.
