Adoption Event Brings Dogs and Cats Together This Saturday in Ponta Grossa

The Parque Ambiental de Ponta Grossa hosts this Saturday (17) a special event of adoption of dogs and cats, with free programming from 9 am to 5 pm. In addition to the animals that will be waiting for a new home, the public will be able to follow pet parade, activities for children and other attractions throughout the day.

The initiative seeks to encourage responsible adoption and bring possible guardians of dogs and cats awaiting a new family. Animals made available for adoption will be delivered neutered, microchipped and with vaccines up to date.

Prior care offers more security to new guardians and is part of the actions to promote animal welfare and responsible care.

Animals will be ready for a new home

Those who decide to adopt during the event must make a commitment to provide adequate food, veterinary monitoring, safety and attention to the animal.

The program’s proposal is precisely to reinforce that adoption goes beyond taking a dog or cat home. The decision represents a permanent commitment to the health and quality of life of the new member of the family.

Every animal available for adoption will have the opportunity to start a new story alongside a responsible guardian.

Pet parade will be rewarded

Besides the adoption fair, the event will also feature a pet parade with costumes. Tutors will be able to bring their characterised animals to participate in the competition.

Animals who win the first, second and third places in the categories provided by the organization will be awarded.

Registration for the parade can be made by WhatsApp (42) 99819-0631.

Programming for children and families

The event will also have free attractions for children and adults, including popcorn, cotton candy and trampoline.

The program seeks to transform the Parque Ambiental into a space of coexistence between families, guardians and animals, while at the same time increasing awareness about abandonment, animal protection and responsible adoption.

Even those who do not intend to adopt can participate in the event, get to know the animals and help in the dissemination of the initiative. Sharing information about available dogs and cats can also help them find a new family.
