37-Year-Old Man Allegedly Violated Protective Measure and Assaulted His Ex-Wife; He Was Detained by the Military Police After Being Injured
An incident of domestic violence in Ponta Grossa ended with a 37-year-old man stabbed in the early hours of Saturday in the Palmeirinha region of the New Russia neighborhood. According to the military police, he broke into the residence of the former companion, breached a protective measure and initiated physical assaults against the woman.
The situation was recorded in Jaguapitã Street and mobilized teams of the 1st Military Police Battalion (1st BPM). According to the information passed on by the corporation, the man went to the property during the early hours of the morning, despite a judicial decision that restricted his approach to the former companion.
Man allegedly assaulted ex-girlfriend
According to the police report, after entering the residence, the man allegedly initiated physical assaults against the woman. During the situation, a third person intervened in an attempt to contain the suspect, entering into a bodily struggle with him.
According to the police, the woman used a knife to defend herself from the attacks. The man was struck by a blow in the chest area.

Man was arrested and taken to hospital

Because of the injury caused by the stab, he received attention from the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) and was referred to a hospital unit, remaining under police escort.
The woman was taken to the 13th Police Subdivision (13th SDP) of Ponta Grossa for the appropriate procedures.
