Aliel Machado affirms having made available R$ 837 million for the Campos Gerais

Campos Gerais is the subject of a report released by the federal deputy and candidate for re-election Aliel Machado (PV-PR), who claims to have made more than R$ 837 million in investments for municipalities in the region during the current term. According to the data presented by the campaign, of this total, approximately R$ 433 million correspond to resources destined for Ponta Grossa.

According to the survey published by the parliamentary, the investments involve different areas of public administration, including Health, Education, Housing, Infrastructure and Agriculture. The campaign also highlights structuring projects and resources destined for municipalities of different sizes of the Campos Gerais.

Among the main investments mentioned is the expansion of the Hospital Universitário of the State University of Ponta Grossa (HU-UEPG). The new tower is under construction and has an announced investment of R$ 108 million. The project provides for a structure with more than 15,000 square meters and 260 beds, 60 of which are Intensive Care Units (ICUs). The forecast is expected to be completed in 2028.

Resources for Health and Housing

The balance sheet presented by Aliel also cites investments in the area of Health, including Basic Health Units (UBSs), Pronto Atendimento Units (UPAs), equipment, ambulances and professionals through federal programs.

Another project highlighted is the Radiotherapy Center of Santa Casa de Ponta Grossa, structure aimed at the care of patients with cancer. The initiative also appears among the investments in Health associated with the performance of the parliamentary.

In Housing, the survey points to the participation in the viability of 558 new homes, through partnerships involving the Federal Government and Itaipu Binacional.

According to the MP, the resources were not only concentrated in Ponta Grossa and also reached other municipalities of Campos Gerais.

“The Campos Gerais is a region I know deeply and where we have a great partnership. When a mayor presents a demand, our job is to seek the paths in Brasilia to transform this need into an investment,” said Aliel.

Transfer of railway sections

Among the structuring projects mentioned in the balance sheet is the transfer of inoperative railway sections from Malha Sul to municipalities.

The agreement allows cities to study the use of these areas for urban mobility projects, road opening, park deployment, public equipment, housing and other interventions.

Among the municipalities mentioned are Arapoti, Carambeí, Castro, Jaguariaíva, Piraí do Sul, Ponta Grossa and Ventania.

The initiative is presented by the mandate as a possibility to give new use to railway areas currently without operation.

Transbrasiliana is also among the projects cited

Another outstanding project is the paving of BR-153, the Transbrasiliana, in a stretch that involves the municipalities of Tibagi, Ipiranga and Imbituva.

According to the balance sheet released by the candidate, the tender should contemplate the region known as Alto do Amparo, in Tibagi, in addition to the other municipalities mentioned. The estimate presented is that the investment may exceed R$ 300 million.

The project is pointed out by the parliamentary as one of the demands for infrastructure followed during the term.

“We still have a lot of projects to take out of the paper. I want to continue maintaining this presence, listening to the mayors and taking these demands to Brasilia,” said Aliel.

Balance sheet includes investments in Ponta Grossa

In Ponta Grossa, in addition to the new tower of the HU-UEPG and the Radiotherapy Center, previous balance sheets released by the mandate also cite projects such as the Polyclinic, the Center Specialized in Rehabilitation (CER-4), investments in infrastructure, education, housing and other areas.

The values presented by the campaign consider resources, works, projects and articulations carried out in partnership with different institutions and spheres of government.

For Aliel, regional action should continue to be concentrated in the search for resources for municipalities. “My commitment is with each city and, mainly, with each resident. I want to continue working to win more investments, new works and more opportunities,” said the federal deputy.
