Aliel Machado affirms he has orchestrated nearly half a billion reais for Ponta Grossa

The federal deputy and candidate for re-election Aliel Machado (PV-PR) presented a balance sheet of his parliamentary performance and claims to have articulated almost half a billion reais in investments for Ponta Grossa in the last four years. According to the data released by the campaign, the resources involve projects in the areas of health, infrastructure, education, housing, agriculture, public security and sport.

Among the main initiatives cited by the parliamentarian are the new tower of Hospital Universitário Regional dos Campos Gerais (HU-UEPG), the Radiotherapy Center of Santa Casa, the future Polyclinic, the Center Specialized in Rehabilitation (CER-4), paving works and investments in educational institutions.

According to Aliel, the action seeks to approximate resources of the federal and state governments to the demands presented by the municipality and by institutions of Ponta Grossa.

“Politics only makes sense when it changes people’s lives. It does not matter if it is a great work or a resource that guarantees the functioning of an institution. What matters is the outcome and the impact that this investment will have on people’s lives,” he said.

Healthcare concentrates some of the biggest investments

One of the main projects highlighted in the balance sheet is the construction of the new tower of the Hospital Universitário of the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG).

According to the data presented by the deputy, the investment reaches R$ 108 million. The new structure will have more than 15,000 square meters and should expand the capacity of hospital care in the city. The completion is expected by 2028.

Another project mentioned is the so-called “Hospital do Câncer”, the name used for the Radiotherapy Center of Santa Casa de Ponta Grossa. The venture totals more than R$ 20 million, in a partnership involving Itaipu Binacional and the Ministry of Health.

The space received a linear accelerator for the treatment of cancer patients.

Among the projects highlighted by the parliamentary, the first Polyclinic of Ponta Grossa, with an announced investment of approximately R$ 30 million, and the Center Specialized in Rehabilitation (CER-4), which receives about R$ 10 million.

The balance also points to approximately R$ 8 million for the modernization of the Maternity Hospital of Santa Casa, in addition to resources destined for equipment, ambulances, health units and costs.

Infrastructure totals more than R$ 91 million

In the area of infrastructure, the material released by the campaign points to more than R$ 91 million in investments articulated during the mandate.

One of the main projects is called “Solução Costa Rica”, which received R$ 30 million through the New Growth Acceleration Program (PAC). The proposal provides for road interventions in the Costa Rican region, in Ponta Grossa.

According to the parliamentary, another R$ 48.8 million was allocated to paving works in regions such as Hilgemberg, Santo Antônio, Cristina, Clock, Lina, Borsato, Santa Tereza, Jardim Maracanã, Ouro Verde and Rio Ronda Basin.

The deputy also cites joints involving water and energy supply, Transbrasiliana and the assignment of railway areas for new projects in the municipality.

IFPR and universities appear among priorities

In education, Aliel Machado highlights the implementation of a campus of the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) in Ponta Grossa.

The project has an estimated investment of approximately R$ 15 million and is expected to be implemented in an area of UEPG.

The balance also points to R$ 12.4 million for equipment of the Laboratory Complex of UEPG and other R$ 5.7 million for the new Chemistry block of the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR).

New structures of Educação Infantil in Cara-Cara and Jardim Califórnia are also mentioned, as well as a full-time school at Núcleo San Martín.

Housing and agriculture

In housing, the balance presented by the candidate points to more than R$ 12.7 million for the construction of 88 houses through the program Minha Casa, Minha Vida.

The units are distributed among developments in the residential Rio Tibagi, Chácara São José, Gralha Azul and Conjunto Santa Clara.

According to the material disclosed, R$ 500,000 were also allocated for land regularization actions involving approximately 365 families from the Santa Luiza and Los Angeles regions.

In agriculture, the main investment mentioned is the modernization of the warehouses of the National Supply Company (Conab) in Ponta Grossa, with an announced contribution of R$ 50 million.

According to Aliel, the resources come from the Federal Government, in partnership with Itaipu Binacional.

Resources for Entities and Workers

The parliamentarian also claims to have allocated more than R$ 3.5 million for social entities of Ponta Grossa, contemplating institutions that work with children, the elderly, people with disabilities and families in situations of vulnerability.

In sport, the balance points to more than R$ 4.9 million in investments in different projects.

For the Operário Ferroviário, Aliel highlights R$ 5 million destined for the base categories and another R$ 2 million for the UEPG Training Center used by the club.

The deputy also mentions articulations with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) related to the project of the new Phantom Stadium.

Aliel seeks new mandate in the House

Aliel Machado is vying for re-election as a federal deputy in the 2026 election. He currently holds a term in the Chamber of Deputies, where he is the leader of the Partido Verde and deputy leader of the Federal Government.

In the balance sheet presented during the campaign, the parliamentarian also highlights his work on national issues, citing the defense of the extension of the income tax exemption, the National Nursing Floor and positions in votes held in the Chamber.

“More than presenting numbers, we want to show where the mandate work is coming from. These are hospitals, schools, homes, streets, equipment, institutions and projects that are part of the life of Ponta Grossa,” he said.
