Aliel Machado recalls origins in PG parade and highlights historic investments in health

The special transmission of the BNT portal for the 203th anniversary of Ponta Grossa was marked by a moment of nostalgia and accountability during the interview with the federal deputy Aliel Machado. Appointed as the parliamentarian who allocated the most resources to the municipality, he took the opportunity to recall his roots and highlight the advances, especially in the area of health.

From grease to the Federal Chamber

Asked about his memories of the civic parade, Aliel shared memories of his humble childhood. "I paraded here for the social program when I was greased, when I carried a cart at the fair," recalled the deputy. He also joked about his time in the school fanfare, revealing that, because he was not the most talented with instruments and because of his stature, he ended up always marching in the front line.

Despite today occupying one of the highest positions in national politics, Aliel stressed that she has not lost her bond with her roots, confirming that she continues to live in the same neighborhood where she was born and grew up, close to her family and people who know her from an early age.

Transformation in Health and Federal Protagonism

The focus of the interview was the balance of the structuring works that the mandate of Aliel helped to make possible in Ponta Grossa. The deputy emphasized that the love for the city needs to be demonstrated in practice, through improvements in the life of the population.

“We have the biggest works in the history of the city at the most important points,” he said, listing crucial projects that have received or are receiving significant investments, such as the New Hospital Universitário, the New Radiotherapy Center (Hospital of Cancer), the new Maternity of Santa Casa, as well as the new Polyclinic and the Autism Clinic.

He also celebrated the end of the political isolation of the city in Brasilia. Aliel recalled that there was a time when Ponta Grossa needed to "borrow" deputies from other cities, such as Curitiba, to have some representation. “I was the only MP in the last eight years to take care of the city ... Today, I am proud to say that we are the city that has received the most appeal from the federal government in the first place, for our work,” he said.

Sport and union for the future

In addition to politics, Aliel, who is a well-known Operário Ferroviário supporter, commented on the team’s momentum, demonstrating optimism with the sequel to the championship and the search for access.

Ending his participation in the parade, the deputy left a message of union for the extremes. He stressed that regardless of the political differences – which he considers normal and healthy when done with respect – the ultimate goal must always be the common good. “Our goal is the same: that our city be better every day. Because this is where we live, this is where we build our family,” he concluded.
