The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Commercial, Industrial and Business Association of Ponta Grossa (ACIPG) and was part of the agenda of the candidate for the Government of Paraná, Sérgio Moro (PL), in the city.
The meeting brought together representatives from industry, trade, services, transport and agribusiness to discuss demands and proposals related to the economic development of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais.
Besides Aline Sleutjes, Sérgio Moro, the Deputy Governor Candidate Edson Vasconcelos, the Mayor of Ponta Grossa, Elizabeth Schmidt, Júlio Küller 's, the candidate for federal deputy Soldier Pastor Ezequiel and the former president of ACIPG Giorgia Bin Bochenek. Aline highlights performance by Campos Gerais
During the meeting, Aline was among the candidates who had space to present proposals and answer questions related to the needs of the productive sector. Among the topics discussed were infrastructure, investment attraction, professional qualification, safety, health, reduction of bureaucracy and measures to increase the competitiveness of companies.
The participation reinforces Aline’s strategy of presenting herself as a representative of the Campos Gerais in the contest for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies. Natural of Castro, the candidate has already been defending a greater political articulation between the municipalities of the region and Brasilia.
In a previous demonstration held in Ponta Grossa, Aline stated that the federal representation should not be restricted to the municipality of origin of the parliamentary.
“There is no federal deputy only of Castro, of Ponta Grossa, of Piraí do Sul or of Carambeí. There is a federal deputy of Paraná.”
On the same occasion, she also advocated a political action closer to the population and the municipalities.
“Our voice needs to be heard. Politician who lends himself is not only inside the cabinet. He goes to the street, listens to the population and works to make the solution happen.”
Meeting focused on the productive sector
Friday’s agenda was organized to put candidates in direct contact with entrepreneurs and members of the ACIPG board. The entity has been promoting a series of meetings with names that contest the elections of 2026, creating space for presentation of proposals and discussion of issues related to regional development.
During the passage through Ponta Grossa, Moro also presented points of his government plan and spoke about infrastructure bottlenecks, highways and economic development. According to the candidate, the situation of the road network directly interferes with the economic activity of Paraná.
Moro was accompanied by Edson Vasconcelos, businessman and candidate for vice-governor. In the evaluation presented during the meeting, the choice of a businessman to compose the plate would be related to the experience of the private sector to identify and face bottlenecks of the State.
Aline and the 2026 dispute
Aline Sleutjes is a candidate for the federal deputy for the PL in the 2026 elections. According to data released by the Superior Electoral Court, her candidacy is deferred and she competes for the Paraná with the number 2255.
The participation in Moro’s agenda in Ponta Grossa comes at a time of political articulation of the group for this year’s elections. Aline has already declared support for Sérgio Moro’s candidacy for the Government of Paraná and, in a meeting held previously in the city, said he knew the senator since the period when he occupied the Ministry of Justice.
The agenda at ACIPG once again placed Aline alongside Moro and other candidates of the political group in a discussion aimed directly at the economic demands of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais.
