Allyson and Cadu de Lula to Compete in the Second Round for RN Governor

Allyson (União) and Cadu de Lula (PT) will play the second round of the election for governor of Rio Grande do Norte. The two candidates were the most voted in the first round, held on Sunday (4), according to data from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
Allyson came first with 36.69% of the valid votes, or 685,289 votes. Cadu de Lula came in second, with 36.31%, equivalent to 690.969 votes.
By 8:49 p.m., 94.33% of the ballot boxes had been filled.
As none of the candidates obtained more than half of the valid votes, the election for governor of Rio Grande do Norte will be decided in the second round, scheduled for October 25.
