Ancelotti renews Brazil's national team and calls up young players; see full list
Brazil's national team call-up has new surprises from Ancelotti for friendly matches against Australia and India. See the 26 players called up.

The call for Seleção Brasileira announced on Wednesday (9) by coach Carlo Ancelotti brought several news for the friendlys against Australia and India. The list of 26 players marks the start of a new team cycle following the 2026 World Cup.
Among the main novelties are young people such as Artur Dias, from Athletico-PR, Vitor Reis, from Manchester City, Breno Bidon, from Corinthians, and Gabriel Bontempo, from Santos. More experienced players, such as Marquinhos, Bruno Guimarães, Raphinha and Vinicius Junior, were also kept in the group.
The call shows Ancelotti’s intention to start a renewal thinking in the coming years. The coach stressed that he intends to balance athletes who have already passed through the national team with players from a younger generation and who can be part of the cycle until the next World Cup.

Hugo Souza (Corinthians), Morisco (Coritiba) and Otávio (Cruzeiro).
Defenders:
Artur Dias (Athletico-PR), Douglas Santos (Zenit), Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal), Jair (Nottingham Forest), Marquinhos (PSG), Matheuzinho (Corinthians), Mauro Júnior (PSV), Vitor Reis (Manchester City) and Wesley (Rome).
Midfielders:
Andrey Santos (Manchester United), Breno Bidon (Corinthians), Bruno Guimarães (Arsenal), Danilo Santos (Botafogo), Douglas Luiz (Juventus) and Gabriel Bontempo (Santos).
Attackers:
Endrick (Real Madrid), Estêvão (Chelsea), João Pedro (Chelsea), Pedro (Flamengo), Raphinha (Barcelona), Rayan (Bournemouth), Samuel Lino (Flamengo) and Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid).
Paraná has representatives in the call
The list also has names linked to Paranaense football. The goalkeeper Morisco, from Coritiba, received an opportunity in the National Team, as did the defender Artur Dias, from Athletico-PR.
Artur Dias, 19, is one of the main bets of the new generation and had been observed by the technical commission of Ancelotti before the disclosure of the list.
Brazil faces Australia twice
The Seleção Brasileira will have three appointments in this Data Fifa. The first will be against Australia on September 25th at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville at 7:00 a.m.
Brazil and Australia will face each other again on September 29, also at 7am, this time at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team then travels to India. On October 3, Brazil will face the Indian national team at Salt Lake Stadium in Calcutta. It will be the first confrontation in history between Brazil and India.
The friendly matches will be the team’s first engagements after the 2026 World Cup and officially open a new stage in the work of Carlo Ancelotti, already focused on the renewal of the roster and the preparation for the next major international tournaments.
