The National Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) determined the seizure of batches Z005197 and Z012354 of the drug Keytruda (pembrolizumab) 100 mg/4 mL, indicated for the treatment of various types of cancer.
The decision was published on Monday (19) in the Official Journal of the Union.
In a note, Anvisa reported that the company itself holding the product registration, Merck Sharp & amp; Dohme Farmacêutica Ltda., identified in the market units of the lots with characteristics diverging from those contained in the original medicine.
The suspicion is that they are counterfeit products.
