App driver shot dead inside car in Reserva

An app driver was shot dead inside a vehicle in Reserve, in the Campos Gerais, on Friday (4). The victim was identified as Ludimar Moraes, 48. The Civil Police investigates the case and carries out diligence to identify and locate the person responsible for the shootings.

Preliminary information was confirmed by Deputy Nathany Manosso of the Civilian Reserve Police. According to her, Ludimar was shot while inside the vehicle. He did not resist the injuries and died at the scene.

Military and Civil Police teams were mobilized to respond to the incident. The area where the vehicle is located was isolated to preserve possible traces that could contribute to the investigation.

Expertise is awaited on site

According to the delegate, the police carry out, at this first moment, the collection of information on the circumstances of the crime and await the arrival of the expertise for the technical procedures.

The expert work should assist in the identification of the dynamics of the shootings and in the collection of elements that may indicate how the murder happened. After the completion of the work on site, the body should be collected for official procedures.

Police are beginning to hear witnesses.

The investigation will continue on Friday. According to Nathany Manosso, witnesses will begin to be heard during the afternoon. At the same time, police teams carry out diligence to try to reach the identity and whereabouts of the shooter.

So far, the motive for the murder has not been clarified. There was also no official information on how many people were involved in the crime or the circumstances that preceded the shooting.

The Civil Police are now working to reconstruct the last moments before the murder and verify elements that can help clarify whether Ludimar was the target of the shooting and what would have motivated the crime. The case is under investigation by the Civil Reserve Police.
