The Heralds of the Gospel of Ponta Grossa are promoting a toy collection campaign in preparation for Children’s Day. The initiative seeks to gather donations that will be distributed to needy children of the municipality.
The campaign runs until October 9, and the community can deliver the toys directly to the Monastery of the Heralds of the Gospel, located at Avenida General Carlos Cavalcanti, 4199, in the Uvaranas neighborhood, at Ponta Grossa.
According to the organization, donations can be made throughout the day or during the participation of the faithful in the masses held on site.
Toys can transform children’s day
The campaign highlights that toys that are unused at home can gain a new purpose and provide a special moment for other children.
In a video released to mobilize the community, the Heralds of the Gospel reinforce the invitation for residents of Ponta Grossa to participate in the initiative.
“That toy standing in your house can make a child’s day happier,” the campaign said.
The organization also asks that participants do not leave the contribution for the last minute and help in the dissemination of the action among family, friends and through social networks.
