Arrests seize skunk in bus on PR-151 in Piraí do Sul
Police boarded an interstate road transport bus that had left the border region in Foz do Iguaçu, heading to the state of Rio de Janeiro (RJ)
An action by the Dog Operations team of the 2nd and 5th Road Police Battalion Company (BPRv) resulted in the drug seizure on PR-151, in Piraí do Sul. The incident was recorded on Tuesday night (29), around 11:30 pm, at kilometer 265 of the highway.
The police boarded an interstate road transport bus that had left the border region, in Foz do Iguaçu, bound for the State of Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
During the inspection in the passenger lounge, the detection dogs were employed in the searches in the upper luggage compartment. The animals indicated positively for a sock-made casing, located on top of the last armchair.
When opening the package, the team found three portions of skunk-type marijuana-like substance, totaling 25.4 grams.
When questioned, passengers said they did not know the owner of the material. As it was not possible to identify the owner, the drug was seized and referred to the appropriate measures.
