Asphalt and UBS: Rio Verde and Pitangui Receive Funding

The deputado Aliel Machado met with the councilor Fábio Silva to announce an investment package for the Pitangui and Rio Verde region.

In a video published on Saturday, Aliel says that the commitment is already made for the 2027 budget, but that the execution still depends on bureaucratic steps.

What has been announced

At the request of the councilor Fábio, Aliel confirmed that he will put resources for two front:

1. Asphalt in Pitangui and Rio Verde: resurfacing and reconstruction of streets that, according to the deputy himself, are in a precarious situation.

“Some streets are in a horrific situation, they need reconstruction, not just refurbishment,” Aliel said.

2. Construction of a new Basic Health Unit (UBS)

A new unit to serve the community of the region, which today depends on insufficient structure for demand.

“It’s a very important feature because it will bring more quality of life, more security to the entire Rio Verde and Pitangui community. Thousands of families will be taken care of,” he said.

The work already done

At the beginning of the video, Aliel recalls the work already done in the region, citing what has been done in Costa Rica and other areas of Pitangui, and says that the goal is to continue serving the community in 2027.

He also cited that there is already a partnership with the City Hall, which has already channeled resources and that the mandate has been maintaining the commitment to the neighborhood.

How it will work

Aliel made a point of explaining the way until the work leaves the paper: the resource is guaranteed in the 2027 budget; the City Hall needs to present the project; then, the bidding process is done. Only then the work can begin.

“It depends only on a bureaucracy, but the compromise did not pass the election. We’re talking about work together,” he said.

Speaking of the councilman

The councilman Fábio thanked the investment and highlighted the importance of the two works for the residents.He cited that the region needs a lot of the new health unit and asphalt, which are old demands of the community. “This investment is very important for our region, for Costa Rica, for Pitangui. The health unit will help the residents a lot, the asphalt as well,” said Fábio.
