Bazar Pequeno Anjo in Ponta Grossa is extended until Tuesday (10), with clothes, footwear and toys at popular prices. Check location and time.

The Pequeno Anjo Bazaar in Ponta Grossa has been extended until Tuesday (November 10th), offering two more days for the community to take advantage of products at popular prices and contribute to the institution that serves children in situations of vulnerability. Initially scheduled to end on Saturday, the bazaar will take place at Lions headquarters from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with clothing, footwear, toys and utensils available for sale.
The action started on Thursday (5) and gained two more days of operation, on Monday (9) and Tuesday (10). The goal is to expand sales and secure resources for the daily needs of the Pequeno Anjo, which relies on solidarity initiatives to assist in maintaining its activities.
Bazar offers parts from R$ 1
Visitors to the bazaar can find a variety of products, including children’s and adult clothing, footwear, toys and utensils.
According to Amanda Oliveira, director of communication of the project, the collection is destined to the needs of the institution and to the care of children in a situation of vulnerability.
“Our whole bazaar is dedicated to the causes of the institution, to the daily needs. And, from 50 pieces, it is R$ 1 each; otherwise, they are items at R$ 2,” explained Amanda.
The proposal is to encourage community participation, allowing visitors to purchase products for affordable values and, at the same time, contribute to a social cause.
Volunteers organized donations for the bazaar
The mobilization has the support of the Network that Welcomes, a voluntary movement of Ponta Grossa that has been collaborating with actions for the benefit of Pequeno Anjo.
According to Bianca Berger, a volunteer at the bazaar, the initiative also arose from the need to organize a large amount of donations received by the institution.
“We have a project for organizing donations. Only the donated clothes, which were in great need of volunteering to do sorting, organizing. We managed to raise money to do the joinery, we got space to organize everything that was shoe, bed linen, children’s wardrobe,” Bianca said.
With the work of the volunteers, several items could be separated, classified and made available for sale.
Bianca stressed that the collective effort allowed to overcome an important first stage of the project, but that it is now necessary to ensure the output of the products.
“It’s a bazaar that will be very advantageous for anyone. Because, in fact, it had an accumulation of donations for lack of volunteers to organize all this. We were able to do that first step,” he explained.
Storage helps to keep the Pequeno Anjo in check
More than an opportunity to acquire products at affordable prices, the bazaar represents an important source of income for the institution.
The resources obtained from the sales are destined to the daily demands and to the maintenance of the activities developed by Pequeno Anjo.
“Now we need the flow in the sales of the bazaar, because it is one of the main sources of collection there of the Pequeno Anjo for them to be able to maintain things that they need in the institution,” said Bianca.
The extension until Tuesday seeks to expand the participation of the population of Ponta Grossa and increase the possibilities of collection.
