Betting for the Mega da Virada 2026 is open with an estimated prize of R$ 1 billion
As it is a special draw, the Mega da Virada prize does not carry over.
The 18th edition of Mega da Virada has the prize estimated by CAIXA Loterias at more than R$ 1 billion. Bets for the special contest on 3100 are available from today, November 3, and can be made until 10pm on December 31. The draw will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 1, 2027, in the Space of Luck, located at Avenida Paulista, at 750, in São Paulo (SP).
As it is a special contest, the prize of the Mega of the Turn does not accumulate. If there are no winners in the main track, with a score of six dozen, it will be divided between the hitters of the second track and so on. Of the amount allocated to the apportionment of the prize pools, 90% will be allocated to bets that match the six tens (sena), 5% to bets with five hits (quina) and 5% to bets with four hits (quadra).
In 2025 Mega da Virada paid the record prize of R$ 1.09 billion. The initial estimate was R$ 850 million. The draw had six winning bets, and each received more than R$ 181.8 million.
Bets can be made with a specific wheel of Mega da Virada in the channels of the CAIXA Lottery: in the more than 13,000 lottery CAIXA spread throughout Brazil, the portal Loterias CAIXA, and the app Loterias CAIXA (IOS and Android), in addition to the Internet Banking CAIXA, exclusive for CAIXA accountants. The value of the single bet with 6 numbers costs R$ 6.00 (six reales).

The balloon of the BOX Lotteries is the way the bettor has to make group bets. Just fill in the field on the steering wheel or ask the lottery attendant.
To participate in a balloon, the bettor can purchase odds organized by the lottery, which may charge an additional service fee. It is also possible to buy odds through the Lottery CAIXA portal or through the Lottery CAIXA app. When the ball is organized by the bettor himself, no service fee is charged.
In Mega-Sena, it is possible to make a ball of at least two and a maximum of 100 odds, with up to ten bets per receipt. In the case of a ball with more than one bet, all must contain the same number of numbers.
