Bid to pave São Martin Connection fails in Ponta Grossa
Tender previously included preparation of the executive project and asphalt execution; Municipality did not inform the reason for the result nor a new date for the competition

The tender to contract the executive project and the paving works of the São Martin Linkage, in Ponta Grossa, was declared unsuccessful by the City Hall. The result is in the Official Journal of the Municipality published on Monday (26).
The Electronic Competition No. 043/2026 had the objective of selecting a specialized company to elaborate the project and execute the paving in Hot-Machined Bitumen Concrete (CBUQ). The public session took place on October 13.
The notice with the result was signed on October 23 by the municipal secretary of Infrastructure, Luiz Henrique de Souza Honesko.
Reason was not detailed
The publication informs that the competition was declared unsuccessful, but does not present the reasons that led to the result. The document also does not detail the proposals presented nor any problems in the documentation of the participants. With this, the dispute ended without the selection of a company to execute the intended object in that competition.
The notice does not inform if there will be a new bid, changes in the project or changes in the conditions of the contract. It also does not provide a forecast for the start of the works.
Next steps depend on definition
Among the points that remain unclarified are the exact stretch contemplated by the paving, the updated schedule and the measures that the municipality will adopt to make hiring possible.
The publication deals specifically with the competition for paving of the São Martin Link and does not inform changes in other interventions in the region.
