BnT holds training with Castro teachers to bring tourism into the classroom
Teachers participated in the training and learned more about the BnT "Conheça Campos Gerais" guide

The Boca no Trombone Portal held on Wednesday (16), the training of teachers of the Castro municipal network for the use of tourism as a pedagogical tool in the classroom, through the 3rd edition of the Guia Conheça Campos Gerais that highlights 11 cities. The project is 'Discover Campos Gerais' which connects tourism, education and the feeling of belonging among 4th graders. The event took place at the Department of Education.
In the end, the project has a writing and drawing contest, which students do and at the end the best works will be selected. One of the highlights is the tour to a tourist spot of the city, providing a practical experience of tourism and learning.
For the general director of BnT Online, Bruna Perozak, with the guide students know places in Castro and even the neighboring municipalities. “With this they will seek more belonging and give more value to our region. Not only Castro, but the project in schools also takes place in Ponta Grossa and Carambeí. Here in Castro we are for the 2nd consecutive year. We are very happy and we see the joy of the children when they have access to the guide, in addition to the partnership we have with the State Government and municipal partnerships."
The Secretary of Education of Castro, Luciane Farias, reinforced the importance of the project in the classrooms. "We have the historical field valued, which Castro is a historical municipality, makes all the difference in the lives of our children. This effective participation is a work linked to all schools. Some are already developing and others will start to work more effectively. This year, the guide is more complete and articulate.”
Discover Campos Gerais, Camila F. Peracetta, you talked about the importance of empowering teachers. “It is the teacher who is inside the classroom who will transmit the knowledge to the children. So preparing teachers is of the utmost importance to know the material before arriving in the classroom, where it makes all the difference so that the work is even better."
For the Secretary of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Kasciano Roberto Morais, commented that the city is a partner in the project developed by BnT. "Today it is so important to bring through the children what the municipality has to offer, that is, the guide comes to add."
