Bola Rolando: Operário reaches the moment of truth in Série B
Operário enters the decisive phase of Série B among the top six and faces Náutico away in an important match for promotion.

The Worker in Series B comes to a time when there is no longer much room for stumbling. Finished the 27th round and with only ten games ahead, the championship begins to definitively separate who will fight for access, who will be halfway and who will have as their only concern to escape the relegation.
And the Worker is on the good side of this story.
The Phantom appears in the sixth place, with 43 points, alive in the dispute for the first positions and, mainly, depending on the performance itself to continue among the protagonists of the championship.
This is precisely where the main point of this final line is: mathematics may even allow dreams, but it is the performance on the field that will decide everything.
The Series B funnel tightened
Youth, Novorizontino, Vila Nova, Fortaleza and Criciúma appear in front of the Worker. Just behind, however, there are also teams trying to get into this fight.
That is, the Ghost cannot look only up.
Each round will have to be treated practically as a decision. A defeat can represent the loss of positions. A sequence of wins, on the other hand, can place the club definitely among the top candidates for access.
The championship has arrived at that old “kill or die” stage.
Not literally, of course. Sportingly, the definition makes sense. Those at the top need to score to keep dreaming. Those below must win to survive.
And those in the middle run the risk of ending up with nothing to dispute.
Next stop: Recife
The next challenge of the Worker will be against the Nautical, on Tuesday, at 7.30 pm, at the Stadium of the Afflicted, in Recife.
The game has interesting ingredients. In the first round, the Nautical defeated the Phantom 6-2 in Ponta Grossa. But forgetting that game is perhaps just the best way.
The worker does not have to “return” six goals.
You don't have to turn the duel into revenge.
You need to win.
A simple 1 to 0 is worth exactly the same three points.
Even a draw away from home cannot be treated as tragedy, although, at this point in the championship, winning is naturally much more important.
After the recent good performance, the trend is to maintain the team base. The moment of the Ghost is positive and, in football, the moment weighs heavily.
Depends on the worker
There is still a lot of mathematics ahead. There are dozens of possible combinations involving the clubs that appear in the first positions.
But the Worker has an important advantage: he is within the dispute.
You don’t have to look for a nearly impossible recovery. You don't have to cheer for ten different results to stay alive. It's over there.
Sixth place.
No cake.
In the fight.
From now on, each round will further decrease the number of available points. This means that recovering ground will become increasingly difficult.
Being among the six at the moment matters.
Access is still far away, but it is no longer just a mathematical possibility. It is an absolutely possible goal.
Now comes the hardest part: turning possibility into a result.
The Worker has come to the time of truth in Series B. And right now, the best possible scenario is to know that much of the future still depends on itself.
