October Bolsa Família payments are advanced until the 21st. Check the new calendar, the amounts and how to consult your benefit.
The payments of the Bolsa Família of October 2026 begin on Monday (19) with a major change in the calendar. The Federal Government announced the anticipation of deposits, which will be unified by Wednesday (21), as a preventive measure against the possible impacts of the super El Niño in Brazil.
The decision was announced by the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Combating Hunger (MDS) and will also be applied in November and December, considered periods of greatest concern with the effects of the climate phenomenon.
With the change, millions of beneficiaries will have access to the money before the dates initially planned, allowing families to prepare for possible emergencies caused by floods, storms or prolonged periods of drought.

The payment will follow the last number of the Social Identification Number (NIS), according to the updated calendar:

In municipalities with an emergency situation or state of public calamity recognized by the Federal Government, all beneficiaries will be able to access the values as early as Monday (19), regardless of the end of the NIS.
According to the MDS, this special release includes 194 municipalities from eight states, including Paraná.
Super El Niño motivated advance payments
The anticipation of Bolsa Família comes amid the increase in the occurrence of natural disasters in the country.
Data from the Federal Government show that, between August and September 2026, 518 emergency and public calamity recognitions were registered, more than double the 253 recorded in the same period of 2025.
In the Southern Region, records related to heavy rainfall, hail, windstorms and flooding increased from 81 to 272.
The weather forecasts also indicate the possibility of above-average rainfall in areas of southern Brazil, including Paraná, which raises concerns about flooding.
In the North, Northeast and Midwest, the phenomenon can aggravate drought situations and water shortages.
According to the Federal Government, the anticipation of resources seeks to guarantee greater financial security to the most vulnerable families, especially in the face of the risks of interruptions in the supply and difficulties in accessing food.
Bolsa Família has readjustment in October
In addition to the change in the calendar, the October payments already include the update of 15.04% in the values of the program.
With the recomposition announced by the Federal Government, the minimum guaranteed benefit increased from R$ 600 to R$ 691 per family. The estimated average value rose from R$ 675 to R$ 777, and may vary according to the family composition and the additionals provided in the program.
How to check the payment of the Bolsa Família
Beneficiaries may verify the date of receipt, the amount available and the status of the benefit through official channels:

Citizen of the Box Portal;
Social disc of MDS, by phone 121;
Service Center of the Box, by phone 111.
To continue receiving the benefit, families need to keep the Single Registry updated and meet the requirements of the program, such as school attendance of children and adolescents, vaccination and prenatal follow-up of pregnant women.
The recommendation is that beneficiaries consult the official channels to check the release of the payment and avoid false information about the calendar.
