Boyfriend invades house with electric current and assaults young woman's parents in Ponta Grossa
Man was arrested after invading the residence and assaulting the girlfriend's parents at Cará-Cará, in Ponta Grossa. Two people were injured.
A man was arrested on Monday night after an incident of assault against his girlfriend’s parents in the Cara-Cara region in Ponta Grossa. According to the report, he entered a residence with a chain wrapped in his hand and broke up the girl’s father.
The incident was recorded around 7:30 p.m. and mobilized a team of the Municipal Civil Guard.
The attacks began inside the residence.
According to the report presented to the authorities, the parents of the young woman had allowed her daughter to spend part of the day with her boyfriend. In the early evening, they went to a family home to pick up their daughter.
While waiting in the property, the girl’s boyfriend entered the residence with a chain wrapped in one of his hands. Afterwards, according to the record, he advanced against the teenager’s father, who was sitting on a couch.
The victim was reportedly hit by punches in the face, suffering injuries in the region of the supercilia and on the left side of the face.
Mother was also assaulted
In attempting to stop the assault, the young woman’s mother was also allegedly attacked. According to the bulletin, she was pulled by her hair and dropped to the ground, suffering injuries to her face and one of her arms.
During the confusion, the father managed to immobilize the suspect until the arrival of the team responsible for attending to the occurrence. Other people who were on the spot also assisted in the man’s containment.
The images of the injuries were sent to the police station.
Possible misunderstanding involving relationship
According to the records, the victims said they did not know exactly what would have motivated the attacks. One of the possibilities mentioned to the team is that the attack is related to restrictions imposed by the family on the relationship between the suspect and the young woman.
The motivation, however, must be determined by the police authorities.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the police station.
In front of the demonstration of the victims for the continuation of the occurrence, the man received a voice of imprisonment and was referred to the 13th Police Subdivision of Ponta Grossa, where the case was presented to the police authority.
One of the victims was also taken to the police station to testify.
The man wounded in the face was treated by a team from Siate and referred to UPA Santa Paula. After medical attention, he also went to the police station.
The case was registered as a bodily injury in the context of domestic violence and will be investigated by the Civil Police.
