Car crash occurs several times and driver is injured on PR-160 in Telêmaco Borba
Accident was recorded in the afternoon of Tuesday (3) on km 201; driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be rescued by the Firefighters.
On Tuesday afternoon, a driver was injured after losing control of the vehicle and rolling over several times on the PR-160 at Telêmaco Borba. The accident occurred around 12:10 p.m., at km 201 of the highway, in the direction of Curiúva to Telêmaco Borba, near the town of Lagoa.
According to the State Road Police (PRE), the vehicle involved was a Fiat Palio Fire with Londrina plates. The driver, a 44-year-old man, was on the highway when he lost control of the steering, stepped off the track and flipped over, leaving the car badly damaged.
Firefighters from Telêmaco Borba were triggered and attended to the occurrence. On the spot, rescuers found the driver locked inside the car, and it was necessary to cut the roof of the vehicle to enable rescue.
The driver had a cut in the region of the neck, injury on the right side of the head, abdominal pain and was confused at the time of care.
After being removed from the vehicle, he received first aid and was immobilized. Due to the severity, support was requested from the SAMU advanced support team, which performed medical evaluation and pre-hospital procedures.
The driver, who had moderate injuries, was referred to the Hospital Instituto Dr. Feitosa, in Telêmaco Borba.
