Casa do Artesão celebrates 37 years in Ponta Grossa with gift draw for customers

The Ponta Grossa Craftsman’s House celebrates 37 years of history on September 29 and has prepared a special action to celebrate the date with customers. Between September 22 and 29, those who make purchases at the establishment will be able to participate in a gift draw, which will be held on September 30, in the store itself.

Founded on September 29, 1989, Casa do Artesão has consolidated itself as a space for the enhancement of the Ponta Grossa culture, bringing together works that represent the identity, creativity and traditions of the municipality.

Over almost four decades, the establishment has also become an important income generation opportunity for local artisans, as well as being a reference point for residents and tourists who wish to acquire handicraft products.

Nearly four decades of history and tradition

For Marlucy Meira, representative of Casa do Artesão, turning 37 is a reason for pride and gratitude. According to her, the space represents much more than a place for marketing products.

"It's been almost four decades keeping the tradition alive, generating income, being the gateway for anyone who wants to take a little piece of Ponta Grossa home. It is proof that the craft resists, reinvents itself and continues to be relevant,” he emphasizes.

Among the main moments of the trajectory of Casa do Artesão are the conquest of the space in the Acoustic Shell, in the heart of the city, and the recognition of straw crafts as cultural heritage of Ponta Grossa.

Another important milestone was the expansion of the number of associates and the diversification of the products marketed. Currently, Casa do Artesão has more than 40 types of products, which represent different techniques and artistic expressions.

Voluntary courses and workshops in various institutions are also part of this history, contributing to the transmission of knowledge and the strengthening of the creative economy in the municipality.

Customers can compete for gifts during the celebration

To mark the 37th anniversary, Casa do Artesão will promote a special action aimed at customers who make purchases between September 22 and 29.

Participation will be simple: any purchase made during the period will entitle you to fill out a coupon to compete for the prizes. There will be no minimum purchase value.

The draw will be held on September 30th, at the Artisan’s House itself.

The gifts that will be given:

2 eyebrow design vouchers;

1 fruit and vegetable voucher from JGF;

1 experimental classroom of capotherapy;

4 tickets to the Park of Vila Velha;

1 Christmas jar with homemade cookies;

1 combo with handmade pieces.

According to Marlucy, many artisans have been part of the House for 10 or 20 years, building a relationship of belonging with the space.

"The Artisan House becomes our second home, it is where talent becomes sustenance and where the history of each meets the history of the city," he says.

For the customers, the celebration also represents an opportunity to strengthen the bond with the local culture and to value the craftsmanship.

“This 37-year anniversary is the celebration of this bond. It means: we’re still here, with love, and made for Ponta Grossa.”
