Castro and Fiep launch Employment Inclusion Unit for beneficiaries of social programs
Program will bring families benefiting from social programs closer to opportunities offered by the industrial sector.

The Municipal Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance of Castro received, on Wednesday (2), representatives of the Federation of State Industries of Paraná (Fiep) for the presentation of the Employment Inclusion Center, a project that seeks to bring families beneficiaries of social programs closer to the opportunities offered by the industrial sector.
The meeting was attended by the municipal secretary of Social Assistance, the municipal secretary of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, the management team of the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance of Castro and the coordinators of the Reference Centers of Social Assistance (Cras) of the municipality.
According to Caroline Arns, coordinator of Fiep’s Employment Inclusion Center, the program is born from the need to connect the demand of industries for labor to people who seek a new perspective of life. She highlighted that Castro has 19% of the population receiving the Bolsa Família, being 5,500 people between 18 and 49 years old within this group, public that comes to be the focus of qualification and professional training actions.
“Our goal is to bring these people into the job market. We want to bring the industries that need the workforce closer to all the people who can have a new perspective of life through the insertion in the labor market,” said Caroline Arns.
The municipal secretary of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Kasciano Morais, explained how the project reached the municipality and highlighted the potential impact on the local economy. “Castro joins the Fiep program to seek opportunities for people who are in social programs,” he said. According to the secretary, the project leads people served by social programs towards the dignity of employment, contributing to the development of the municipality. “This program comes in search of generating opportunities, where opportunities have seen jobs and jobs dignity to people,” he added.
Municipal Social Assistance Secretary Günter Lesnau welcomed the partnership and reinforced the social character of the initiative. “It is a pleasure to be here in this great partnership with Fiep, this is social inclusion, we seek to bring people, especially those who are most vulnerable, a job. Because today we know that the big problem is the lack of money. So the qualification, this training, is very important for this person to be able to return to the labor market,” said the secretary.
