On the morning of Thursday (8), the municipality of Castro hosted the 2nd Meeting between secretaries – Dialogues for Industrial Development in the Campos Gerais region. The event held by the Association of Municipalities of Campos Gerais (AMCG), in partnership with Sebrae and the Fiep System, took place at Senac.
The meeting continued the discussions held in the first agenda that took place in Ponta Grossa, promoting a new space for the representatives of the municipalities to advance in the identification of demands and in the construction of joint proposals aimed at strengthening the regional industry.
The Boca no Trombone Portal report was at the meeting. For AMCG Executive Director Katiane Pires, the Campos Gerais region is privileged. “Here are several items that industries are looking for. We need to think about how we will do, which municipalities are more developed and those that do not have how we can help. And whether it is really the big industries that are the focus, or we can work the small ones, to do it in the best way.”
For Sebrae consultant, Joslaine Schimidt, the first agenda was to identify actions that have the possibility of being developed together, where today was the prioritization of these actions, to provide the territorial development of micro and small industries. "With these collaborative constructions, perhaps we can understand what the vocations of each municipality are and how we can enhance, as well as identify the challenges [...]".
The coordinator of the Fiep Regional Council, Rafael Rickli, stressed that the Campos Gerais region has an industrial vocation. "This closeness where in the first meeting a study was carried out and trying to apply is very important. That's today's straw. Working together with the federation, Sebrae and with the municipalities we only have to win, being the main point that we will always take ".
The Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Castro, Kasciano Roberto Morais, also spoke about the industry in the municipality. "Castro is looking to consolidate itself as a regional hub of the industry. We also had a great delivery of the Contorno Norte, which connected District 1 to District 2, we have great possibilities to receive companies from Brazil and abroad, which cite Castro to be investing in the future."
