Castro invests over R$1 million in technology; see the new initiatives
One of the novelties is the Smart Castro project that will expand connectivity in the city of Castro

The city of Castro during the InovaTec42 event, on Thursday (17), announced investment of more than R$ 1 million in technology to improve services. Among the highlights are the applications carried out by the City Hall team, Fale 156 and Fale 153, which speed up the service to the population and the work of the Municipal Guard.
In urban mobility, the city will have 4 intelligent traffic lights, with an investment of R$ 530,000, which guarantee more fluidity in traffic and safety.
Innovation has also reached care and education. Through partnership with GovFácil, IApó will be implemented. Three interactive totem poles will also be installed to attend the population, in addition to 10 interactive screens for students, with an investment of R$ 500,000.

The Smart Castro project will expand connectivity in the municipality, which will be a platform that will gather information and services from the municipality.
Internet
There will also be seven new free internet points in open areas, two in Prainha, one in Praça Manoel Ribas, two in Parque Lacustre, one in Morro do Cristo and one in Caramuru Stadium. In addition, all public buildings, including schools and inland units, have free Wi-Fi.
