Castro City Hall opens credentialing for vendors to sell flowers, candles, food and other products in cemeteries during All Souls' Day.
The City of Castro has opened the accreditation of street vendors interested in marketing products in municipal cemeteries during the period of the Day of the Dead. Applications are open until 28 October.
The Public Call No. 021/2026 provides for the use of public spaces near the cemeteries Frei Mathias and Nossa Senhora of the Rosary on October 31, November 1 and 2.
What can be sold
Sellers interested in the marketing of different types of products aimed at the public who visit the cemeteries during the period may participate.
Among the items authorized are religious and similar articles, natural and artificial flowers, candles, non-alcoholic beverages, as well as ready-made and industrialized foods.
The expectation is of increased movement of people in the places during the holidays, when families traditionally visit the cemeteries to honor relatives and deceased friends.
Submissions follow until 28 October
Those interested must complete the accreditation by October 28th with the Directorate of Supplies of the City of Castro, located in Pedro Kaled Square, 22, in the Center.
The in-person service takes place from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 11 am and from 1 pm to 5 pm.
It is also possible to make the request through a digital process in the self-service system of the City Hall. In this case, the process should be directed to the Directorate of Supply.

City Council seeks to organize trade in cemeteries
According to the call, the objective of the accreditation is to organize the occupation of public spaces and the marketing of products in the vicinity of cemeteries during the days of greatest movement.
