The City of Castro held on Tuesday (29) the audiência pública presentation and discussion of Lei Orçamentária Anual (LOA) 2027. The proposal presented by the public servant Dulcileia Reis, controller of Planning, detailed how the revenues and expenses of the municipality are planned for the next fiscal year, at a time that provides transparency, popular participation and dialogue with the community.
For 2027, the budget proposal foresees revenue of R$ 514.6 million. The LOA is also aligned with the PPA 2026-2029 and the LDO 2027, which define programs, goals and priorities for the municipality.
Among the resources provided, there are R$ 169.1 million for Education and R$ 112.6 million for Health, in addition to investments and resources destined to the other areas of the Municipal Administration.
The audiência pública is the space for questions, clarifications and contributions of the population, strengthening the participation of the community in the planning and monitoring of the public budget.
