Castro receives new equipment to attend to 730 children and adolescents
Castro receives equipment for social assistance, valued at R$ 10 thousand, destined for units that attend children and adolescents. Check the details.
The City of Castro, in the Campos Gerais, received new equipment for social assistance in Castro, aimed at strengthening the services for children and adolescents. Delivered on Friday (18), through the Fortalece Paraná Program, the kit gathers seven items, valued at approximately R$ 10,000, which will be distributed among units of the municipal network.
The equipment will be used to improve the working conditions of the teams and the care of families who use the social assistance services of the municipality.
Among the items received are a washing machine, a microwave oven, a freezer, a refrigerator, a sound box with microphone, an industrial blender and an industrial oven.
The materials will be destined to different units, according to the needs identified by the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance.
Check which units of Castro will receive the equipment
The distribution of equipment will be carried out by the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance, responsible for organizing the delivery of materials to the beneficiary units.
The Guarda Mirim Coexistence Center will receive a washing machine and a freezer, equipment that will contribute to the daily activities developed on site.
The Youth Center (Ceju) will receive a microwave oven, while the Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras) Vitória will have a refrigerator and an industrial blender.
The Food Production Unit will receive an industrial furnace, intended to strengthen the activities related to food preparation.
The sound box with microphone will be with the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance, and can be used in collective activities developed by the folder.
The distribution considers the practical needs of each service, including food preparation and storage, clothing hygiene, and activities with users.
Coexistence services serve 730 children and adolescents in Castro
The delivery of the equipment takes place in a context of care for hundreds of children and adolescents in the municipality.
According to information from the Castro City Council, the municipal network’s living services currently serve 340 children and adolescents.
In the non-governmental network, another 390 are attended, totaling 730 children and adolescents in the coexistence services of the two networks.
The new equipment will be destined to the municipal units indicated by the Secretariat of Social Assistance. The delivery aims to improve the structure used by the teams and contribute to the development of the activities offered to the population.
The acquisition of everyday equipment allows services to have better conditions to meet the needs of children, adolescents and their families.
Programme Strengthens Paraná strengthens social assistance structure
The equipment for social assistance in Castro was made available through the Fortalece Paraná Program, an initiative aimed at strengthening the structure of social assistance services.
For the municipal administration, the arrival of materials represents a reinforcement of the operating conditions of the spaces that develop activities aimed at the population.
The municipal secretary of Social Assistance, Günter Lesnau, highlighted the importance of the partnership to expand the structure available in the municipalities.
“The Paraná Strengthening Program reaffirms the partnership with municipalities in strengthening social assistance policy, with investments in structure and equipment that contribute to the guarantee of rights and the provision of increasingly qualified services to the population,” he said.
With the distribution of the seven equipments, the City of Castro intends to improve the operating conditions of the units contemplated and strengthen the care offered to children, adolescents and families who use the municipal network of social assistance.
