Castrolanda celebrates 75 years with Family Day this Sunday (18)

The celebrations of Castrolanda’s 75th anniversary gain another special moment of integration with the community. This Sunday (18), the Parque Tecnológico Agroleite, in Castro, receives the Castrolanda Family Day, a free program and open to the public, from 11 am to 6 pm.

The event will be held on the same day as the 75-year-old Castrolanda Race. After the tests, participants and their families can stay at the Parque Tecnológico to enjoy a programming prepared for different audiences and age groups.

According to Isadora Carneiro Fontoura, an analyst of People Management at Castrolanda, the opening of the event to the community represents a way to share with the population of Castro an important moment in the history of the cooperative.

“Understanding the importance that Castro and the community have with Castrolanda, all this receptivity and welcome in these 75 years, the idea is to extend this celebration to the community,” he says.

During Sunday, the public will be able to follow performances of fanfares from two schools in Castro, in addition to dance performances from the Youth Center and the Enchanted Theatre, which will be held at the Conexão Arena. The fanfare presentations will take place outdoors.

The program was also specially designed for children. Inside the pavilion there will be an inflatable toy park, with monitors, queuing and identification of age groups.

The space will also feature bowling tables, workshops and various traditional games, such as bag racing and treasure hunting, as well as activities inspired by Dutch games. Children’s characters, such as princesses, Spider-Man and Transformers, as well as a magical itinerant, will also be among the attractions.

The proposal is to encourage moments of coexistence and family fun, rescuing traditional games and providing children with experiences away from screens.

Several attractions

In addition to the attractions aimed at children, the Family Day will have spaces that value local culture and entrepreneurs. The program will feature a food court that will bring a variety of snacks and sweets.

The participation of the Fair of the Moon is also planned, bringing together local merchants of gastronomy, crafts and clothing; in addition to an Exhibition of Ancient Cars. Participations are in the final phase of confirmation.

For Isadora, taking these initiatives into the Parque Tecnológico is also an opportunity to bring the Castrolanda community even closer together. “The opening of the Parque Tecnológico, which today is open to the public mainly during Agroleite, is also an invitation for families to come and spend this day and get to know this space.”

For every community

The Parque Tecnológico will be open to the public from 11 am to 6 pm, allowing even those who do not participate in the race to arrive from 11 am and enjoy the programming.

For those who are registered in the Castrolanda 75-year-old race, the programming of Family Day begins following sports activities, turning Sunday into a great celebration of the 75-year-old cooperative with the community.
