Ceju in Castro promotes 3rd edition of Talent Show in October
The event is aimed at teenagers aged 12 to 18 and seeks to reveal and value the different artistic and cultural expressions of young people.
The Castro Youth Center (Ceju) is ready for the 3rd edition of the Talent Show "What is your Talent?", which takes place on October 30, from 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm, in Ceju itself. The event is aimed at adolescents from 12 to 18 years old and aims to reveal and value the different artistic and cultural expressions of young people.
With modalities ranging from theater, dance, stand up and singing to instrumental, circus, fight, rhyme and other performances, the show promises a lot of creativity and fun. The presentations can be individual, in doubles or in groups of up to six members.
Applications are open and can be made until October 20 through the online form available at this link, or in person at the Ceju administration. Vacancies are limited. By registering, participants authorize the disclosure of images and audios of their presentations for the purposes of dissemination of the event, as provided for in the regulations.
According to Ceju’s director, Rogério Rodrigues, this year’s edition marks a moment of consolidation of the event. "This is a moment of consolidation of this event, since we are in the 3rd edition and the expectation is great on the part of everyone! We will have diverse presentations and the goal is to recognize the military talents in their varied abilities," emphasizes Rogério.
Focus on youth
Ceju serves more than 200 teenagers, aged between 12 and 18, offering sports, recreational activities and workshops in school, such as futsal, beach tennis, volleyball, gym, drawing, visual arts, RPG, table games, table tennis, skateboarding, judo, jiu-jitsu and karate.
The space also develops partnerships such as Senar, with the Young Apprentice Farmer Course, Senac, with the Administrative Assistant Course, and Gerar, through the Jovem Aprendiz Learning Program. Another highlight is the Citizenship Agents program, which involves young people in social projects and guarantees a monthly scholarship of R$ 400.
