The Independence Day of Brazil, celebrated on Monday (7), will change the functioning of several municipal public services in Ponta Grossa. Administrative departments, health units, the Workers Agency, Procon and other bodies will be closed while the services considered essential continue to function.
In the area of health, the Health Units will not have care, but the UPAs and the CAC operate normally during the 24 hours of the holiday.
The garbage collection also follows without changes, as does the PG Recycling. Collective transport will operate according to the schedule practiced on Sundays.

Worker Agency: Closed.
Entrepreneur's Room: closed.
Hub Station: Closed.
Service Square: closed.
Feira Verde: there will be no service at the exchange points.
Popular Restaurant: Closed on Monday (7) and reopened on Tuesday (8).
FASPG – Social Assistance: without administrative file. Essential services, such as social approach, shelters, special transportation and funeral assistance, function normally.
Guardianship Council: administrative offices closed, with attendance on a shift scale during the 24 hours of the holiday.
Health: Closed Health Units. UPAs and CACs normally operate 24 hours.
Garbage collection: normal operation.
Recycle PG: normal care.
Procon: closed.
Being: there will be no operation on the holiday.
Education: There will be no classes.
Public transport: buses operate on Sundays.
Essential services remain available
Even with the suspension of the administrative procedure, the City Council maintains the services considered essential.
In social assistance, for example, the social approach and reception services continue to function, in addition to special transport and funeral assistance. The Guardianship Councils are also available on a 24-hour basis.
For those who use public transport, the orientation is to be attentive to the reduction of schedules, since the lines will follow the table corresponding to Sundays.
The regular functioning of the municipal services will be resumed after the holiday, according to the schedule of each sector.
