CimSaúde reinforces strategies to improve care in the 21st Regional Health Unit

The Intermunicipal Health Consortium of Campos Gerais (CimSaúde) gathered, last week, members of the Advisory Working Group (GTC) to discuss strategies aimed at improving the care offered to the municipalities that make up the 21st Regional Health.

The meeting focused on strengthening the actions provided by the Health Consortium Qualification Program (Qualicis), an initiative that seeks to improve the services provided by the Consortium and expand the integration between the professionals involved in the different Health Care Lines.

According to nursing technique Tiane Correia dos Santos, the meeting aimed to strengthen the strategies and work processes already developed. “The meeting took place with the aim of strengthening the strategies and work processes developed, in addition to promoting integration between professionals and municipalities,” he explained.

Multidisciplinary care

Through Qualicis, CimSaúde offers specialized care in a multidisciplinary manner. Among the areas contemplated are the Lines of Attention to Mental Health, Health of the Elderly, Hypertension and Diabetes, in addition to the attention to the Pregnant and Child Health.

The program also provides for continuous training of professionals working in the health network, contributing to the updating of teams and the improvement of services provided to the population.

For nurse Joyce Hotz, the work developed by the program has a direct impact on the quality of care. "The objective is mainly to contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of care offered to users," he said.

Integration between services

During the GTC meeting, the professionals also discussed the challenges faced in attendance, alignment of flows, exchange of experiences and definition of strategies to improve assistance in the municipalities served by the Consortium.

Among the main points discussed is the strengthening of the integration between Primary and Specialized Care. The intention is to ensure greater continuity in the follow-up of patients, facilitating the referral between the different levels of care.

According to the director of CimSaúde, Pâmella Costa, the organization of the Care Lines allows a broader follow-up of patients. “This work is of the utmost importance, because it serves the patient as a whole, in a humanized way,” he said.

The expectation is that the meetings of the Consultative Working Group will contribute to the permanent improvement of the processes and to an increasingly integrated action between the CimSaúde, the professionals and the municipalities of the 21st Regional Health.
