The City Council highlights the importance of bringing health services closer to the population
The municipal secretary of Health, Liliam Brandalise, highlighted that the realization of actions directly in the communities contributes to broaden the access of the population to primary care services.
“Action in the community is important because it brings health services closer to people and, therefore, in addition to promoting health, through information and care, these actions help prevent diseases, improving the quality of life of people in these territories. The health teams must always be where the people are,” he said.
The initiative also reinforces the importance of preventive monitoring, allowing residents to access information and care that contribute to the early identification of health problems.
