Civil Police and Municipal Guard arrest two suspects in drug trafficking in Uvaranas

A joint operation to combat drug trafficking in Uvaranas, in Ponta Grossa, ended with the arrest of two suspects and the seizure of approximately 8 kilograms of marijuana, in addition to crack, cocaine, hashish, money and equipment used for the marketing of narcotics. The action was carried out on Friday night (4), around 9 pm, by teams from the Operational Sector of the 13th Police Subdivision (13th SDP) and the Special Operations Group (GOE) of the Municipal Civil Guard.
According to security teams, the operation was triggered after surveys and diligence related to an address located in the Uvaranas region. According to the information obtained during the action, the property had frequent movement of people and was pointed out as a possible point used for the sale of drugs.
During the approach, two individuals were found in front of the residence. In the magazine carried out by the agents, a backpack was located with one of the suspects containing several tablets of a substance similar to marijuana, totaling about eight kilograms.
During the approach, those involved reported that there were more drugs stored inside the property. With police monitoring, one of the suspects indicated the place where the narcotics would be hidden.
Other drugs were found in the residence, including crack, cocaine and hashish. According to the agents, the materials were separated and packaged, a characteristic that may indicate preparation for marketing.
In addition to drugs, the operation against drug trafficking in Uvaranas also resulted in the seizure of cash, a card machine and two cell phones. The materials were collected by the teams to assist in the investigations.
In the face of the facts, the two approached received a voice of imprisonment, had their constitutional rights informed and were referred to the headquarters of the 13th Police Subdivision, along with all the material seized.
