Companies speak out after bus that left Ponta Grossa was involved in an accident in the interior of SP
The bus was making the trip from Ponta Grossa to the Brás region (SP). The accident occurred on Tuesday (8)

Sitko Turismo and A&J Excursões, issued a positioning after a company bus involved in a rear collision with a wagon early Tuesday (8), on the Castello Branco Highway (SP-280), in Itu, inside São Paulo. The bus made the route of Ponta Grossa to the region of Brás (SP).
Information obtained by the BnT Portal, the driver of Ponta Grossa suffered serious injuries, but without risk of life, and received medical attention at the site of the occurrence. The collision took place at kilometer 71 of the highway, on the track direction capital of São Paulo. According to initial information, the bus hit the back of a wagon carrying a load of sugar. With the impact, part of the product ended up falling on the track.

In a note, the company communicated that the bus made the route Ponta Grossa to Brás (SP) and carried 23 passengers. "From the very first moments after this, Hamilton, owner of Sitko Turismo, and Alisson and Jessica, owners of A&J Excursions, are closely monitoring the situation and providing all the necessary support and assistance to passengers. At this time, our priority is the care and well-being of all the people involved. Sitko Turismo and A&J Excursions are together, following all the developments and offering the necessary support from the moment they occur."
In a second position, Sitko Turismo and A&J Excursions detail clarification especially on the guide Katia Carvalho and driver João Gustavo Morais.
Our first official note was published with the main aim of reassuring everyone in the face of what happened and informing about the general state of the people involved. We apologize to anyone who may have felt annoyed by the guide and the driver not having been individually mentioned at that first moment. When we informed that “all those involved were being supported”, we meant everyone: passengers, guide and driver.
The note also clarifies that "from the first moment, our guide Katia Carvalho was well and, even in such a delicate situation, provided all the necessary guidance and follow-up at the site of what happened and later in the hospital, assisting passengers together with the company. Katia also stayed by the driver’s side all the time, offering support and follow-up. Our driver, João Gustavo Morais, was the one who generated the most concern because of his condition after the accident. Both companies and passengers have shown great concern about it. Fortunately, João has been discharged, is already at home and continues to recover, receiving all the necessary support.
