The Sesc PR Education Congress at Ponta Grossa will be held on November 10th, with a lecture focused on the challenges of the ethical use of technology in the school environment. The meeting is part of the fifth edition of the state event, which takes place between November 5 and 12, in 28 Sesc units at Paraná.
With the theme “Connections that transform: education, technology, ethics and well-being”, the congress aims to bring together teachers, experts and education professionals to discuss how digital tools are modifying the ways of teaching, learning and building relationships within schools.
In Ponta Grossa, the programming will be held at 9am, in Sesc Ponta Grossa, located in Coronel Street Theodoro Rosas, 1247, in the Center. The lecture "Educating for the Ethical Use of Technology" will be given by Jelson Oliveira, who will address the importance of responsibility and critical reflection in the face of the advancement of digital technologies.
Technology and education in debate
The congress proposal is to discuss the benefits and challenges related to the use of technology in education. Although digital resources expand access to knowledge and create new learning possibilities, they also raise questions about attention, coexistence, emotional health and interpersonal relationships.
Among the subjects highlighted are the need to guide children and adolescents to the conscious use of digital platforms, the appreciation of the role of teachers and the construction of more welcoming school environments.
The event also seeks to encourage the continuous training of educators, stimulating the exchange of experiences and the development of pedagogical strategies that reconcile technological innovation and human relations.
Congress will have programming throughout the Paraná
The official opening of the V Sesc Congress Paraná of Education takes place on Thursday (5), at 7 pm, at the Sesc Center, in Curitiba.
