Councilman Fabio Silva demands maintenance of children's parks in Ponta Grossa neighborhoods

The maintenance of playgrounds in Ponta Grossa was the target of the billing of the councilor Fábio Silva after an inspection carried out in the centers Rio Verde, Pitangui and Andorinhas. According to the MP, the visit came after requests made by residents of the regions.

In a post on social networks, the councilman stated that he had encountered problems in the conservation of spaces intended for children. Among the situations reported are the lack of sand in the playgrounds and the need for maintenance services in the equipment and in the areas used by the community.

Supervision occurred after requests from residents

According to Fábio Silva, the inspection occurred after residents searched his office to report on the conditions of the playgrounds. The councilman criticized the situation and said he intends to collect measures from the public power.

Silva attributed the problems to what he classified as lack of maintenance by the Department of Parks and Squares, linked to the Municipal Secretariat of Meio Ambiente. The statement represents the position of the parliamentary on the conditions observed during the visit.

According to the councilor, the collection aims to ensure safer and more suitable spaces for children and families who use the leisure areas in the neighborhoods of Ponta Grossa.

Residents report problems in other neighborhoods

The publication also provoked demonstrations by residents of other regions of the city. In one of the comments, a resident cited the situation of a playground located in Jardim Guarujá.

According to the report, there would have been killing in the surroundings of the space and lack of leisure options for the community. The resident also suggested the implementation of a hiking trail and a football field in the neighborhood.

The comments amplify the discussion about the maintenance of playgrounds in Ponta Grossa and about the structure offered in public recreational areas located in the neighborhoods.

Councillor promises to continue to charge improvements

In commenting on the enforcement, Fábio Silva stated that he intends to continue forwarding the residents’ claims and collecting answers from the responsible sectors.

The councilor also defended that the demands of the neighborhoods remain at the center of the discussions of the public power, especially when they are related to the security, conservation and use of public spaces.

The maintenance of parks and squares involves services such as cleaning, toy conservation, replacement of materials and care of the areas around the equipment.
