Councilman Fábio Silva follows asphalt projects for 2027 in PG
Councilman met with Secretary Luiz Henrique Honesko to discuss paving demands; streets are still in the project development phase.

Councilman Fábio Silva announced that he is monitoring the planning of new paving works in Ponta Grossa. The parliamentarian participated in a meeting with the municipal secretary of Infrastructure and Planning, Luiz Henrique Honesko, to discuss demands presented by residents and check the progress of the projects planned for Asphalt New 2027.
According to Fábio Silva, the meeting was aimed at monitoring requests for improvements in neighborhood infrastructure and seeking advances in the development of paving projects.
“In a meeting with the municipal Secretary of Planning, Luiz Henrique Honesko, we dealt with the demands of our neighborhoods and monitored the progress of the projects for Asphalt New 2027,” the councilman said in a publication on social networks.
Projects do not yet represent the start of the works
The parliamentarian stressed that the streets included in this stage are still in the technical planning phase and that the elaboration of the projects does not mean the immediate start of the services.
“We are in the process of developing the projects. This is not yet the start of the works. This is an important step to seek the feasibility of future pavings,” explained Fábio Silva.
This phase is necessary to assess the conditions of the roads, define the interventions and prepare the technical documentation that may allow the execution of the works.
The delivery of services depends on subsequent steps, including feasibility analysis, availability of resources and administrative procedures.
Paving is demand of residents
Improving street conditions is one of the demands of residents of different regions of Ponta Grossa. The paving contributes to facilitate the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, in addition to reducing problems related to dust and mud on still unpaved roads.
The paving program developed in the municipality contemplates urban infrastructure interventions, including drainage systems and other improvements necessary for the urbanization of the streets.
Fábio Silva stated that he will continue to follow the projects and collect measures to advance the demands presented by residents.
“We continue to work, charging and accompanying each stage so that the asphalt reaches our neighborhoods!”, he declared.
