Couple and teenager detained with nearly 4 kilograms of marijuana in Ortigueira

On Tuesday (27), a couple was arrested in flagrante and a teenager was seized during an action of the 26th Military Police Battalion, in Avenida Paulo Siqueira, in the municipality of Ortigueira.
The incident began when the ROCAM team conducted patrols and spotted two individuals in suspicious attitude in access to a residence. Upon noticing the presence of the vehicle, the pair quickly fled into the property.
Faced with suspicion, the police entered the house to carry out the containment. During the approach, one of the men ran to the bathroom, where he locked himself and even used his companion as a shield to try to stop the police action, while the minor tried to hide in the room.
Following the sweep of the property, the agents located on the kitchen table an open backpack containing two marijuana tablets and three packages of the same substance in the modality known as "flor", making a total of 3,921 kg of narcotics. In the same place, a precision scale and R$ 200 in kind were also collected.
The man and the woman received a voice from prison, and the teenager was seized. All were sent to the Civil Police Station of Ortigueira along with the material seized for the performance of the appropriate procedures.
