Couple is arrested and 136 kilograms of cocaine in BMW seized on BR-277 in Balsa Nova
The drug was hidden in hidden compartments in the BMW floorboard
The Federal Road Police (PRF) seized 136 kilograms of cocaine and arrested two people (couple) during an approach on Wednesday (23), at kilometer 146 of BR-277, in Balsa Nova. The drug was hidden in hidden compartments on the floor of the BMW X6 vehicle.
During the approach, the occupants, a 27-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, presented divergent information, which raised suspicion. With the help of sniffing dogs, the police identified signs of the presence of illicit in the vehicle.
In the inspection, changes were found in the car compartments and, after a thorough check, several cocaine tablets were located hidden in the floor.
The detainees, along with the drug, were referred to the Federal Police Station in Curitiba.
