The Ponta Grossa CRAS promoted special activities in celebration of Children's Day. The actions took place in the Reference Centers of Social Assistance (CRAS) Santa Luzia and New Russia and brought together children and families accompanied by the units in moments of play, coexistence and integration.

The programs were organized by the Social Assistance Foundation of Ponta Grossa (FASPG) and aimed to provide leisure moments, in addition to strengthening the bonds between families and the services offered by social assistance in the municipality.

Art and fun at CRAS Santa Luzia

On Thursday (8), CRAS Santa Luzia held a special afternoon dedicated to art and drawing. Children and family participated together in the activities, using creativity in an environment prepared to promote interaction and fun.

The program also featured snacks, popcorn, cake and other treats. At the end of the activity, each child received a package of candy as a souvenir of the celebration.

The initiative provided a different moment in the routine of the families accompanied by the unit, also strengthening the approach with the professionals and services offered by CRAS.

New Russia reunites families served by PAIF

On Friday (9), the programming took place at CRAS New Russia. The party was aimed especially at families accompanied by the Integral Family Protection and Care Service (PAIF).

During the afternoon, children and caregivers participated in games and moments of relaxation, as well as sharing meals prepared for the celebration.

The children also received reminders at the end of the meeting.

Activities Strengthen Family Ties

According to the president of FASPG, Tatyana Belo, activities such as these also help strengthen the relationship of families with public welfare facilities.

“When the child plays, draws and has fun with the family within CRAS, he understands that that is a place where he is welcomed and protected. This is how we build trust and strengthen the bonds that underpin each child’s development,” he says.

The CRAS are units responsible for the provision of basic social protection services and the monitoring of families in different regions of Ponta Grossa.
