CRAS Santa Luzia promotes action on emotional care during Yellow September
CRAS Santa Luzia promotes activity on emotional care, life value and support network with PAIF participants in Ponta Grossa

The Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) Santa Luzia, in Ponta Grossa, promoted a special activity in reference to the Yellow September, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the value of life and care with emotional health. The action took place last week and brought together participants of the Family Protection and Integral Care Service (PAIF).
With the theme emotional care and valuation of life, the meeting provided a space for conversation, listening and reflection between the participants. The proposal was to discuss ways to face difficult moments and reinforce the importance of self-care in the face of different demands faced in everyday life.
Reflection turned panel on CRAS
During the activity, each participant was asked to answer the question: “When life gets heavy, what helps me to do next?”
The answers could be presented through words, phrases or drawings. At the end of the meeting, all the material was gathered in a collective panel, which will remain exposed at CRAS Santa Luzia.
The initiative seeks to register different forms found by the participants to seek support, strength and meaning during situations of difficulty.
Support network and respect for limits
In addition to the dynamics, the conversation wheel addressed topics such as family and community bonds, building a support network, respect for one’s own limits and the need to seek help when necessary.
According to the president of the Ponta Grossa Social Assistance Foundation (FASPG), Tatyana Belo, actions like this are also part of the work carried out by the social assistance units of the municipality.
“The proposal reinforced that valuing life also involves building spaces for care and hospitality, a role that CRAS plays in strengthening families and community coexistence,” Tatyana emphasizes.
The PAIF is developed by CRAS and aims to support families, strengthen family and community ties and contribute to the prevention of situations of social vulnerability.
